Job Title: Accounting Specialist
Location: Angola, Indiana (100% On-Site)
Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000

A well-established manufacturing company in Angola, Indiana is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Specialist to join our on-site team. This full-time role is essential to our day-to-day accounting operations and will focus heavily on accounts payable, payroll processing, and timekeeping functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Accounting Specialist will manage and process weekly and bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time.

• Handle full-cycle accounts payable including invoice processing, vendor communication, and payment scheduling.

• Maintain accurate records of employee timekeeping, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.

• Assist with month-end closing procedures and reconciliations as needed.

• Support internal audits and provide documentation for financial reviews.

• The Accounting Specialist will collaborate closely with HR and production departments to ensure payroll and time data integrity.

• Continuously look for ways to streamline and improve accounting processes.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accounting Specialist , or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable and payroll systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

• High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently on-site.
