Kinetic Edge Physical Therapy is seeking to hire a Clinical Systems Specialist to be the point person for our information technology (IT) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Key Responsibilities

  • IT Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between Kinetic Edge and our contracted IT partner to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • System Administration & Support:
    • Maintain and develop internal IT systems.
    • Provide technical solutions and troubleshooting support for therapy providers.
    • Resolve in-house support tickets promptly.
    • Set up new computers, accounts, and users.
    • Manage technology inventory, equipment maintenance, and ordering.
    • Address Microsoft Outlook and email-related issues.
    • Assist with system updates and equipment rollouts.
  • HIPAA Compliance: Oversee internal and external communication processes to ensure HIPAA compliance and security best practices.
  • EMR Management: Serve as the internal point person for our electronic medical record (EMR) system:
    • Add new users and referring providers.
    • Manage provider schedules and EMR settings.
    • Coordinate EMR integrations (Tali, Kno2, Televox, outcomes measures, Medbridge, etc.).
    • Act as a liaison between therapists and the EMR vendor to ensure workflows and needs are met.

Qualifications

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Health Information Management, or related field (preferred but not required).
  • Past experience in healthcare informatics is a bonus, but new graduates with a passion for learning are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and healthcare data security.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Outlook, and common clinical/office software.
  • Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience managing EMR systems (preferred: TherapySource, Casamba, or NetHealth).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, service-minded approach.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently as well as collaboratively.

Salary: $40,000.00 to $55,000.00 /year (depending upon education and experience)
