The Corporate Travel Agent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of business travel for employees and executives, ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance with company policies, and a smooth travel experience. This role involves negotiating with suppliers, implementing travel policies, and supporting employees with their travel needs. The Corporate Travel consultant will be the primary point of contact for travel-related issues, providing solutions and ensuring a seamless travel experience. Key Responsibilities Manage the relationship with the company’s travel management company. Oversee the planning and booking of travel arrangements for employees, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and other travel-related services. Negotiate rates with airlines, hotels, and car rental companies. Monitor travel expenses, analyze data, and identify opportunities for cost savings. Ensure compliance with company travel policies. Provide travel support and guidance to employees. Manage relationships with travel suppliers. Address and resolve any travel-related issues or emergencies promptly and efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, addressing their travel needs and concerns effectively. Requirements and Skills Proven experience as a corporate travel agent Extensive knowledge of corporate travel management, travel policies, and industry practices. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in travel booking systems, software, and travel management platforms. Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail and a focus on cost-efficiency and compliance. Ability to manage travel-related emergencies and issues calmly and effectively.
