KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Finance and Accounting to join our CFO organization.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage strong business relationships coupled with insightful analysis of data and trends that yield accurate and predictive planning and forecasting
- Assess historical business trends and how they impact the future for earlier problem identification and operationalize course corrections
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives and provide financial insights
- Identify vague and complex issues with actionable recommendations that impact the bottom line (minimizes risk or optimizes opportunities or improves efficiencies)
- Shape the finance team's development and succession planning by providing mentoring, coaching, guidance and support to enhance overall capabilities
Qualifications:
- Minimum twelve years of recent experience in progressive financial planning and analysis; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or relevant field from an accredited college or university; master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Proven experience in a strategic finance role, with a minimum five years in a leadership capacity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and results driven mindset; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficient in financial software and MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills

California Salary Range: $140000 - $265000
