KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Finance and Accounting to join our CFO organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage strong business relationships coupled with insightful analysis of data and trends that yield accurate and predictive planning and forecasting
  • Assess historical business trends and how they impact the future for earlier problem identification and operationalize course corrections
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support business initiatives and provide financial insights
  • Identify vague and complex issues with actionable recommendations that impact the bottom line (minimizes risk or optimizes opportunities or improves efficiencies)
  • Shape the finance team's development and succession planning by providing mentoring, coaching, guidance and support to enhance overall capabilities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum twelve years of recent experience in progressive financial planning and analysis; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or relevant field from an accredited college or university; master's degree from an accredited college or university preferred
  • Proven experience in a strategic finance role, with a minimum five years in a leadership capacity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results driven mindset; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficient in financial software and MS Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
