Summary of Position:

The incumbent is responsible for leading all business development efforts, campaign strategy development, and execution of Leonardo Helicopters USA, Inc. (LH-USA) government programs and services. Including, but not limited to, all existing and future LH-USA Government customers (Local, State, and Federal).

The incumbent will lead and oversee Customer Support and Training support to LH-USA programs and ensure interface and coordination with AWPC, Cascina Costa, and external organizations and agencies. Representing Leonardo Helicopters Government CS&T Programs representative, the incumbent will work in close collaboration with CS&T at AWPC and Cascina Costa as the LHD liaison with the US government customers (Local, State, and Federal)

The incumbent will also assist in revenue generation for the LH Florida Support Facility through business development and execution of MRO activities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan/implement/execute existing LH-USAA and LHD US Government customer programs and initiatives in coordination with the AWPC and Cascina Costa CS&T leadership teams
• Develop and support CS&T strategies and programs focusing on emerging opportunities such as
• FMS, USG, State, and Local government BD campaigns
• Development of business development opportunities to assist in the growth of the
• Revenue stream at the LH Florida Support facility

Competencies & Attributes:

• Understanding of the LH-USA business, specifically its LHD corporate and Leonardo relationship
• Technical presentation skills
• Ability to work in team-oriented, collaborative, fast paced environment
• Strong communication shills -both written and verbal

Experience

• 15-20 Years in a related field
• 10 years leadership and management experience – Military Officers or civilian mid-level Executive
• Technical leadership, innovation, and agility, with a focus on delivering results
• Government contracting, including management of proposal efforts, with US Defense and

Federal Government Agencies

• Military and commercial rotary-wing aircraft/tiltrotor aircraft, technologies, operational requirements, and logistical support
• Multinational/multicultural working groups, business organizations, and technical project teams

Education:

Bachelor’s degree
