Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health is the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system is a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it ensures that residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Director of Quality, Regulatory, Accreditation & Patient Experience. Our ideal candidate will provide leadership and assume ultimate accountability for department, implementation, and coordination of hospital clinical and operational quality improvement programs. Ensures compliance with all regulatory guidelines and monitors quality improvement programs throughout the Hospital. Oversee the implementation of the accreditation plan to ensure a state of continuous survey readiness and compliance with district and federal regulatory requirements.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia required
  • Bachelors degree in nursing, public health or related program from an accredited educational institution required. MBA or MS degree in related healthcare field from an accredited educational institution preferred
  • 5 - 8 years quality or related health care experience required. 10 years preferred.
  • Experienced in the use of statistical, security adjustment and benchmarking software and databases.
  • Experience with management of Regulatory and Accreditation preparedness preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of health and safety management strategies, quality assurance, quality improvement and continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
