Job Description

A Special Education Teacher position focusing on Early Childhood and Elementary School education is available for the contracted school year. This role supports students ages 3 to 6 within a resource inclusion classroom environment, working closely with a team of paraprofessionals and another certified teacher to provide individualized instruction.

Location:

• Position located near Leander, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and instruct a caseload of approximately 19 students with diverse needs.
• Collaborate with four paraprofessionals and an additional certified teacher to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.
• Work alongside related services staff to support student progress.
• Maintain a consistent daily schedule from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, for a total of 35 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Texas State Special Education EC-12 teaching license.
• Experience working with young learners in special education, especially in Early Childhood settings.
• Proficient in writing and implementing IEPs.
• Comfortable collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
