Welder – Airway Heights, WA | Up to $30/hr | 4-10's Schedule
Aerotek is currently hiring experienced Structural Welders to support a growing steel fabrication operation in Airway Heights. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering excellent pay, long-term career prospects, and a consistent 4-day work schedule. We’re looking for welders who are confident with Flux Core welding and can read blueprints with precision.
What You’ll Do:
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to perform accurate welding and fitting
Use Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) techniques with .045 and 1/16 wire
Execute 5/16 fillet welds that meet structural integrity standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area
Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily production targets
What We’re Looking For:
Hands-on experience with FCAW welding
Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
structural steel fabrication
Ability to obtain or currently hold WABO and AWS certifications
Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs
Work Setting & Shifts:
Spacious indoor facility with designated welding bays
Choose from two fixed shifts:
Day Shift: 4:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday–Thursday)
Swing Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM (Monday–Thursday)
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
