We are seeking a dependable and professional Healthcare Security Officer to join our team at a medical facility in Whitestone, Queens . This full-time role is ideal for candidates who are vigilant, customer-service oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Position Details:
Location: Whitestone, Queens, NY (Healthcare facility)
Schedule: Saturday through Wednesday, 8:00AM 4:00PM
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time
Uniform Provided | Weekly Pay
Responsibilities:
Maintain a strong security presence at facility entrances, exits, and key access points
Monitor visitor access, assist with screening protocols, and enforce site-specific policies
Respond to incidents involving patients, staff, or visitors with professionalism and care
Conduct interior and exterior patrols to ensure safety and security
Collaborate with clinical staff to support a secure and welcoming environment
Complete accurate incident and activity reports as needed
Requirements:
Valid NYS Security Guard License
Must be at least 18 years of age
Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
Professional demeanor with a commitment to customer service
Prior healthcare or customer-facing security experience preferred
