SUMMARY

CIS Industries, LLC is hiring an HVAC Service Operations Manager covering the State of Tennessee. The position is located in Nashville, TN and is not remote. This position is responsible for providing leadership for all activities of the service division. The service division supports the start-up of new equipment installations, maintenance and repair of existing equipment and the implementation of service contracts with owner customers. This position supports the pricing of service offerings, coordination of field service personnel, invoicing, collections and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

HVAC Service Operations Manager Job Skills:

  • Leads the service division to respond to internal and external customers. This includes emergency repair, regular maintenance contracts, scheduled repairs and upgrades, unit replacement.
  • Effectively attract, train, and develop all service employees. Improve company financial performance through the implementation of employee skill develop programs.
  • Maximize cash flow by ensuring projects are invoiced timely upon completion of work and managing job expenses to increase job profitability
  • Ensure that standard service work processes are followed. Develop new or improve business processes to drive growth and profitability.
  • Maintain environmental, health and safety compliance within the service division. Conduct training sessions as needed.
  • Travel between Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga and Memphis to visit CIS offices and customers.
  • Job site visits may be required and working outdoors and/or in mechanical rooms. During job site visits the employee may be exposed to adverse weather conditions, moving mechanical systems, heights and other situations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a Technical / Trade School with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning and five (5) years related experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years' experience in managing people, budgets and business processes.
  • A minimum level of finance and accounting is required.
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad).
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License with no major traffic violations.

Working Environment:

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; working from heights; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 50% sitting, 20% walking, and 30% standing. The job may be performed under temperature extremes and in a generally hazard free environment.
