The successful candidate will be responsible for managing terminal activities, ensuring efficient and safe handling of offshore wind components, and coordinating with various stakeholders to support the growth of our offshore wind logistics services.

• Offshore Wind Terminal Superintendent Responsibilities*
• *Operational Management:*
• Oversee all terminal operations, including the handling, storage, and transportation of offshore wind components. Ensure efficient and safe workflows to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• *Safety Compliance:*
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to maintain a safe working environment.
• *Staff Supervision:*
• Manage and lead a team of terminal staff, including stevedores, equipment operators, and administrative personnel. Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure high productivity and morale.
• *Logistics Coordination:*
• Work closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to coordinate the receipt, storage, and shipment of offshore wind components. Ensure timely and accurate communication to facilitate smooth operations.
• *Equipment Maintenance:*
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of terminal equipment, including cranes, forklifts, and other machinery. Ensure all equipment is in optimal working condition to prevent downtime and delays.
• *Inventory Management:*
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and movements. Implement efficient tracking systems to monitor the status and location of offshore wind components.
• *Stakeholder Liaison:*
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders. Address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• *Continuous Improvement:*
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
• Offshore Wind Terminal Superintendent Position Requirements*
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, maritime studies, engineering, or a related field preferred
• 5 years of experience in terminal operations, preferably with a focus on offshore wind or similar large-scale industrial projects.
• Experience handling and supervising associates on multiple types of cargo, especially breakbulk
• Understands specialized rigging and cargo handling gear
• Warehouse and stevedoring experience
