The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and finishing industrial components, utilizing various techniques and tools to ensure high-quality results. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary. Apply paint using airless paint spraying techniques and other methods to achieve desired finishes. Operate power tools and hand tools for painting and assembly tasks. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes through lean manufacturing principles. Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner. Assist in machining tasks as needed, demonstrating mechanical knowledge throughout the process. Utilize cranes for moving large components safely during the painting process. Qualifications Proven experience in industrial painting or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with auto body repair techniques is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools and hand tools effectively. Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint accurately. Understanding of lean manufacturing principles is advantageous. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
