Job Description
LaborMax Staffing is seeking a dedicated and motivated Prep Cook to join the culinary team at a Indian restaurant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and wants to expand their knowledge of authentic Indian cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and portion ingredients, including vegetables, meats, sauces, and spices.
Assist chefs with daily prep.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace.
Follow established recipes, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
Support the cooking team during peak service to ensure smooth and timely operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a prep cook or in a professional kitchen preferred.
Familiarity with Indian spices or cuisine is a plus
Strong teamwork, communication, and multitasking skills.
Dependable, punctual, and available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
