As a Security Professional - Armed Government Institution - Multiple Shifts  in Manson, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned area, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site procedures.
• Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and/or contractors while maintaining a visible presence.
• Assist with access control and verify identification as required by site policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports for Allied Universal and client records.
• Support emergency response efforts and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency personnel as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
