Job Description

DPP is seeking a Systems Administrator III for an opportunity in Englewood, Colorado.
Work arrangement:
Hybrid or Onsite in Colorado
W2 position; 6 months
Position summary:
Manage and maintain servers and related infrastructure components.
Manage and maintain AI systems, including hardware and software components.
Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of IT infrastructure.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance to ensure security and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve on premise and cloud infrastructure
Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Administer and support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.
Administrator and support Azure Entra and RBAC
Manage virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and junior IT staff.
Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and network diagrams.
Ensure NIST 800-171 compliance.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 6 or more years of relevant experience. Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
3-5 years of experience implementing and supporting Hypervisor/Hyperconverged environments (VMware, Nutanix etc.)
1-3 years of experience implementing and supporting AWS or Azure Cloud Operations
3-5 years of experience with IT Operations Monitoring Tools (Azure Monitor, vROperations, SolarWinds)
Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity between server-to-server infrastructure across environments
Experience with networks (LAN, WAN, VLAN) and patch management of devices
Familiarity with administration and troubleshooting various operating systems and platforms (Microsoft, Red Hat, Azure, AWS)
Excellent communication skills
