We are seeking a VP of Finance to join our fast-growing company, which fosters a dynamic and inclusive culture where every team member’s contribution is valued. In this role, you will oversee all financial operations, strategies, and planning for the company. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in finance, a strong understanding of the merchant services and payment processing industries, and proven leadership skills to drive financial performance and support strategic decision-making. What You’ll Be Doing: Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and drive business growth. Develop and execute long-term financial strategy, aligning with organizational goals. Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture. Oversee financial forecasts, budgets, and projections, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company objectives. Monitor key financial metrics (revenue, margins, cash flow, expenses) and provide actionable insights. Build financial models to evaluate business opportunities, partnerships, and investments. Manage cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and strategic initiatives. Oversee treasury functions, including capital structure and financing strategies. Ensure compliance with financial regulations (GAAP/IFRS, PCI DSS, SOX, anti-money laundering laws) Identify, assess, and manage financial and operational risks within payment services and merchant processing, including fraud, chargebacks, and other sector-specific risks, while implementing effective mitigation strategies. Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax preparation, and reconciliation of high-volume transactions Oversee insurance coverage and retirement plans Collaborate with auditors to ensure the integrity of financial statements and compliance. Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders. Maintain relationships with external partners (banks, auditors, clients) for smooth operations. Stay informed on trends in merchant services, payment processing, and fintech. Advise on pricing strategies, cost structures, and profit margins to drive competitiveness and profitability. Any other related finance duties as may be assigned from time to time. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred). Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or other relevant certifications preferred. 10+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles. 5+ years of extensive experience in the merchant services, payment processing, and/or fintech sectors. Proven experience in financial planning & analysis, financial reporting, and risk management within the payments or related industries. Strong understanding of payment systems, including gateways, POS systems, transaction processing, and merchant account management. Strong analytical skills to turn complex data into actionable insights. Proven leadership experience in managing high-performing teams. Expertise in financial modeling, cash flow management, and strategic forecasting. In-depth knowledge of payment industry regulations (PCI DSS, SOX, AML). Knowledge of CRMs and back-end processing systems ie Salesforce, IRIS CRM, TSYS, RS2 Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel, Asana, and Adobe Acrobat Job Type: Full-time What We Offer: 401(k) Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Annual Compensation: $150,000.00-$175,000.00 Work Location: This is an on-site role.
