Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
\n - Follow safety procedures/requirements
\n - Familiar with Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
\n - Demonstrate proficiency in company Welding procedures/specifications for welding 90/10 & 70/30 CuNi as well as grinding, prepping and fit-up when needed
\n - Learn to weld with a rotary positioning table, adjusting settings on rotary table and weld machine after passing GTAW x-ray test with 90/10 pipe on the positioner

\n
Positional Requirements & Qualifications: \n - Education & Experience
\n \n - Experience preferred for level I, Experience required for level II & level III welder
\n - HS Education or GED Equivalent a plus
\n - 5 or more years industry experience as a welder
\n - Welding trade school graduate or up to two years' experience as a certified welder
\n
\n - Skills & Abilities
\n \n - Meets all Welder qualifications and requirements
\n - Successful completion of Welder workmanship class
\n - A clear understanding of Welding safety
\n - Demonstrates proper use of Personal Protective equipment (PPE)
\n - Basic understanding of Welding principals and applications
\n - Demonstrate GTAW skills.
\n - Basic oral & written communication skills
\n - Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers and cross train if required.
\n - Knowledge and understanding of filler metal selection
\n - Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
\n - Demonstrate "can do" attitude and work well in a team environment
\n

\n
\n - Works mostly autonomously with little supervision
\n - Must have a clear driving record in accordance to company driving guidelines
\n - Clear background check and drug/alcohol screening
\n
\n
Essential Physical Functions: \n - Lifting: up to 50 pounds
\n - Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions
\n - Lift and carry: 50 pounds for 100 feet
\n - Bending, stooping, walking and climbing stairs
\n - Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments
\n - Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
\n - Moving about to accomplish tasks
\n - Communicating with others to exchange information
\n - Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
\n - Operating machinery and/or power tools
\n - Operating motor vehicles or heavy equipment
\n - Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the job visually
\n - Required physical ability if mandated by customer or regulatory requirements
