Individual contributor on the payroll/compensation accounting team

$50-$60/hr

Compensation Accounting Consultan t

The Role

• Compensation accounting / compensation finance
• Commission calculations
• Assist with compensation modeling
• Strong overall accounting acumen
• Note – this could be from accounting or finance background
• Systems: Netsuite, intermediate excel
• Well-rounded accounting acumen, with strong understanding GAAP policies
• Assist with multiple, concurrent projects (examples could include equity, pay modeling, etc)
• Can handle a task / project and run with it
• Ensure GAAP compliance
• Look for ways to reduce time, improve processes, increase efficiencies
• Ability and desire to move around on accounting team to multiple concurrent projects

• 4+ years of progressive experience with proven expertise in successful
• Proven experience within Accounting, specifically compensation, payroll, commission accounting
• Thorough understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Netsuite highly preferred
• Mid to large size company, Private equity backed preferred; SaaS
• Proactive, solutions oriented

• the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
• licensure and certification requirements;
• office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
