Performance Contractors is hiring skilled Form Carpenters and Rod Busters to join our team. These craft professionals play a critical role in building safe, durable foundations for industrial construction projects.
Form Carpenters are responsible for building and setting wooden or steel-framed forms used to shape foundations, beams, and piers. Duties include reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, assembling and aligning formwork, and ensuring accuracy before concrete placement.
Rod Busters specialize in installing and securing reinforcing steel (rebar) for concrete structures. Responsibilities include reading drawings and rebar schedules, cutting, bending, and tying steel, positioning rebar to meet specifications, and working closely with carpenters and concrete crews to ensure structural strength.
Requirements for both roles:
Prior experience in formwork or rebar installation preferred
Ability to read and follow blueprints and construction plans
Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in all conditions
