As a Designer at Northwoods Builders, you will collaborate with clients and the production team to create stunning and functional interior spaces. You will combine your design expertise with your customer service skills to ensure clients have a seamless and enjoyable experience. This role is perfect for a creative and dynamic individual who excels in both design and client interaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences and requirements, providing expert advice and recommendations.
  • Create detailed and innovative interior designs using design software and tools, ensuring they meet client specifications and budget.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other team members to ensure the timely and efficient execution of projects.
  • Develop and implement design strategies to achieve client satisfaction.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing portfolio with up-to-date design examples.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service from initial consultation to project completion.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in interior design and incorporate them into your work.
  • Conduct design presentations and assist clients in making informed decisions about their interior projects.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience (+3 years) as an Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • At least 2 year of Kitchen/Bath design experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 2020, Chief Architect, or similar tools.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Creative and innovative mindset, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
