Experienced Teacher Assistant / Paraprofessional needed for immediate position
We are currently looking for experienced Teacher Assistants/ Paraprofessionals for long term placements in SPED classroom settings. Open positions are for the upcoming 2025/26 SY placement. Scheduled hours are between 8:15-3:15pm Monday- Friday.
Qualified Teacher Assistants must have previous classroom experience or experience working in behavioral health settings with children, must have current CPR and 1st Aid and must have or be able to obtain fingerprint clearance card.
Teacher Assistants will provide assistance to teachers in a classroom environment by working with students individually and in group settings on assignments and projects. Must be able to follow direction, behavioral and IEP plans. Will provide materials to students, help implement lesson plans and daily activities and monitor students in the cafeteria and on the playground.
All Paraprofessionals must have at least one year experience in the past 18 months as well as have or be able to obtain:
